My 9 year old dachshund snaps at other dogs. She is timid and afraid.

My nine yr old dachshund lost her brother last week. When she first met him, he went for her. For nine yet, she has nipped other dogs and is no well socialized around dogs.
I am planning on getting another puppy in November, but I am afraid that she will snap at it.

my shih tzu is aggressive towards other dogs

I have a 5 month old Shih Tzu puppy, i only brought him home two days ago. I introduced him to my 4yr old Pomaranian and at first they were getting along good, but two days in and my shih tzu is starting to bite my pomaranian. He has also become quite aggressive towards me and other friends and family members by biting if you touch him. I really want to know how i can stop this aggression!!

9 month old daschund pup bullies and pulls older dogs fur

We have a 9 month old dashund that we got in oct 2012. We already owned a very mellow wonderful 3 yr old Dorky; Doxie/Yorkie mixed. Very laid back. Our new pup is an absolute spaz, very domineering. Say the two are sitting in the hallway, the doxie will have our Dorky pressed against the wall with his rear. He does the domineering thing even when just walking in passing.

He pounces on our dorky latching on to the back of his neck and constantly pulling his ears and facial fur violently. Our poor dorky has learned to stop and duck when ever he hears him coming, doxie is running full on and attack grabbing ears and fur as he is running. Our poor Dorky has taken to staying in his den area and just isn't his usual happy self any more. Every time he tries to play with his toys our doxie will grab the toy, run a few feet and drop it then go back and harass our dorky.

We have taken to vocal commands and a spray bottle with water. We are planning on getting the dorky fur trimmed rather short to help.
