Scared my puppy is wicked

Hi.
I got my pup when he was 7 weeks old.he is now 3 months.naturally he was extremely shy and timid at first, and just wanted affection.now tht he has settled he is no longer timid.its a springer spaniel so traing goes quite well most of the time as he is smart and catches on fast, but with this he is stubborn so although he knows what to do he does not always listenthis i can work on but im worried as at some stage everyday while he is playing with toys or outside with me he will start to nip(we tell him no or replace with a toy)but the comes straight back to nip me only harder when i say no he bites harder and starts to jump and bark
as soon as i pick him up to put him in another room/outside he stops(if i turn to walk away he bitesmy legs) and oncei go back to him he sits and waits for me to say ok.
i have tried closing his mouth but he gets more agressive,iv tried no,iv tried walkin away but nothing works.please help,i love my puppy.

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
