Help--Puppy bites and latches on

by Jana
(TX)

I have an Austrailian shepherd/lab mix. He is 10 weeks old and I cannot get him to stop biting. He doesn't just nip, he bites and you can't get your hand out of his mouth. I have tried giving him other toys, leaving the room, newspaper, and nothing seems to work. When he bites, it bleeds and really hurts. I don't know what else to do, but I cannot put up with this. My hands and lower arms look like i've been through barbed wire.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
