German Spitz Mitel Being Aggressive?

My german spitz puppy often nips but today my toddler and i were standing in the backyard and he suddenly ran up and lunged at her nose deliberately and bit her. He really hurt her and drew blood. I am concerned for her safety and considering returning him to the breeder. What do i do?. The pup is 4 months old and a male. The other issue is that he appears to be quite a dominant dog also.

German Spitz owner
by: Anonymous

For those that have any Spitz dog please do your research about them , if you do not put in the work and train them they will not be what you can or will expect them to be ,, the German Spitz comes from a long line of Herding dogs and are loyal and loving to their family unit ,, they are suss of other people and any noise will put them on alert ,,,

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.

All the best,
Adam
