Agressive Yorkiepoo

by Gale M.
(Dallas, Tx )

I have had this male Yorkiepoo, since he was a puppy, he is 4 yrs old now. First time he acted aggressive, my great grand-
daughter was over at the house. Harley(my dog) likes to play
fetch. My great granddaughter, MaKayla, was going to pick up his toy and throw it. Harley did not like that, and he bit at her. He sleeps with me, and once he gets to sleep, he does not like to be bothered. If I turn over, or move, he snaps and grawls snaps at me. He also acts very aggressive towards the cats. He starts barking at them, if they enter the room, and this goes on all during the night. He does not want them around at all. He also barks at the least thing outside, non stop barking. Any suggestions, would be most appreciated.

Nothing In Life Is Free

Nothing In Life Is Free

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
