I don't know what to do anymore..
We have a 17-18 week old shar pei puppy and although I treat him with love and kindness, he is quite aggressive towards me. There is 3 others in my family home, the oldest being my mum and the youngest my two brothers.. 8 and 6.
I am the only one he seems to act aggressive towards, every time I try and tell him no! He snarls at me.. For eg. If he is eating off a plate which he isn't allowed I will tell him no and try remove him away from the plate and he will scrunch his nose up, snarl growl at me and try and attack me. He has drawn blood multiple times and even when I still tell him no! And be firm, he tries attacking me again.
My mum doesn't seem to think it's a problem because "he doesn't do it to her" but this is not how a puppy should behave. He will be a BIG DOG and I am worried that I'll end up scared of him.
There's puppy biting and nipping and then there's snarling and growling and trying to attack you biting down and not letting go drawing blood.
Can anyone suggest what I should do?
We can't afford puppy classes at the minute..
😢
