Don't hold her down...

Hi, Flora:

Don't hold her down. As you've found, it's a technique that rarely works.

Instead, tell her, "No!" in a firm voice while looking at her intently and grab the skin on the back of her neck and give it a quick pull and release. This should be firm enough that it is uncomfortable for the dog. It must be done quickly, to replicate the way the mother dog would correct/bite the puppy on the neck.

If that still doesn't work, you'll need to learn how to properly use the small pinch collar with a light line/leash.
