aggressive puppy

Hi there,
we have an 8 month old Bischon mixed with yorkie. cute little guy. but he has problem with me for some reason. i will go to unleash him from being outside and he becomes aggressive with me and has bitten me.
today i was petting my older dog and the puppy came up to me and growled and showed his teeth.

i feed him and walk him. i play with him and he even sleeps on the floor by my side of the bed. but i have become almost afraid of him and i have never feared dogs before.

I need some guidance on how to handle this situation!

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
