Aggressive pitbull puppy

My pitbull puppy is almost 10 weeks.we got him at 8 weeks. For the most part he is a normal puppy, playful and energetic. He plays often outside and inside. I have also introduced him to a kiddy pool, that he loves! He knows a few commands and is good with them.
He likes to play in my flower beds, preferable the big bushy ones. When I remove him from them he becomes very aggressive, growling teeth showing and trying to bite! Not sure how to stop this ffrom happening. I do not want him in the flower beds but I am starting to be fearful of removing him from them. I have read several things. I feel like I am exercising him and stimulating him often. What do I do to prevent this from becoming a really problem as he grows?

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
