Aggressive Germain Shepard - lab

Hi there ,
I have an 8 month old pup, he has had some major issues -- he was diagnosed with Pano at 3 months and was put on pain meds and steroids, The pano seems to have cleared up but now it looks like he has hip dysphasia ... images are being taken next week.
He is aggressive! I have a 3 year old Germain Shepard also, and he can be aggressive towards him, but also is aggressive to some kids. I have to muzzle him when kids are over. I really don't know what do, I have three kids in the house that he is fine with most of the time but I don't trust him. I love him and know he has been in lots of pain, but what can I do to turn this behaviour around.
I have done all the Alpha training and obodience.
Any tips would be helpful.

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
