aggressive English bulldog

by Melissa
(virginia)

I have a 5 year old sweet female boxer, a 5 year old male poodle mix and a 1 1/2 year old female English bulldog. My bulldog won't attack the tiny male poodle mix because he'll give it right back to her but she keeps attacking my boxer for no reason and my boxer is so sweet she won't show any dominance she only defends herself. The bulldog has her bed in our laundry room and if any dogs so much as walk by she growls, they won't go in the laundry room because of her. If the bulldog thinks the boxer is getting attention she will attack, and sometimes for no reason at all. I love them both so much and want it to stop but I don't know what to do.

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.

All the best,
Adam
