i adopted 3 year old unaltered female CC (Pearl) from a woman who said she is too playful and large for her other tiny CC. i also have a 10 year old female cocker and a 7 year old male CC( very docile). Pearl lunges and nips my other dogs when they come near me. She also will only urinate on top of my cocker's pee spot. she now goes crazy, with barking and pulling on leash whenever she sees another dog in the distance. i pick her up to control her but she will continue to bark and struggle in my arms. i cannot calm her down. occassionally my cocker will fight back when Pearl lungs at her and nips at her face. i will separate them, but Pearl will try to continue the fight. otherwise, Pearl is a sweet, loving, playful dog, and will curl up with, walk with, lay out in the with, and play chase with my other dogs. i would like to find out how to best start dealing with this issue. i now hesitate to even take her on a walk, which she needs because she is high energy. Any suggestions?
