Aggressive 8 month black lab

We've had Shelby since 8 wks old. She is a smart, loveable and loves people and other dogs. She was spayed at 6 months and within the last 6 weeks has gotten aggressive just towards me. Lunges growls and tries to bite down. Tried to ignore but impossible. She's quick. Doesnt last more than a few minutes but seems like a lifetime. Any suggestions might help.

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
