aggressive 4 month old siblings

I have 2 four month old Lab siblings. A 45 lb male and his sister 38 lbs. They are house trained and use a dog door into a large fenced yard so plenty of exercise. They play rough and growl and show teeth but up until lately ( last few days) it has all been play. The male has gotten rather aggressive over certain toys and will growl and snap at his sister over them to the point she will not get close to him even after the fact. This has happened maybe 3 times in the last 2 weeks. If I see this I immediately get onto him and take the toy and put it up. Yes they are both going to get fixed at 6 months. I have had Lab brother and sister puppies before and this never happened between them. Will they work it out or should I really be concerned it may only get worse. For the most part they do get along and play great together. I would hate to think I may be rehoming one of them due to aggression later but I will not have dogs that fight. Thanks for any suggestions.

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.

All the best,
Adam
