We rescued two dogs from the butte fire turned out we ended up having 10 a few months later.. out of that litter we kept 1 female cause she was just well wendie..we had to bottle feed most of the pups since mom was to young and had suffered trama from being rescued by the National gaurd during the fire her and the male. So much so we had to place her with someone else who could help her recover better than we could.. every one of the pups ended up in great homes .. wendie how every has remaind with me. She's playful goofy smart loving but with strangers she's not joke.. specially if I'm alone ..hair goes up teeth show and the growl is deep.. since she'ssupposed to be my serve dog this won't do,, once she gets to know you she's all over you ..wiggles her button till she almost falls over.. but just walking her down the street can be a choir help

Nothing In Life Is Free

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
