My American Bulldog.

by Naomi
(West sussex)

I have a 5 month old american bulldog and she's lovely with other dogs along as they don't go near HER stuff, food bowls etc. Iv just got a 8 week old mastiff x rottweiler and he is fine quite play full and loving. But my american bulldog had gone for him a few times now and it's quite aggressive. All the 8 week old pup dose is lay next to my older pup and she quite aggressively go for him? They have separate bowls, beds etc and my 5 month old still gets the same attention? Can anybody help?

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
