He has a pinch collar even though I am not a fan of them. I honestly don't know how to make the disipline for bad motives motivational besides his regular daily positive training.

Time Outs Don't Work For Dogs
by: Adam G. Katz

Hi, Kasey:

"Time outs" don't work for dogs. I have my suspicions that they probably don't work for kids, either. But I am a dog expert who doesn't have kids, so I'll keep my advice limited to dogs:

You need to get a pinch collar and a leash, and learn how to give her a motivational leash correction. If you're sure she knows that she's not supposed to do it, then it means that your corrections are not motivational.
