If you don't want abuse..don't abuse her!
by: Anonymous

Do NOT hit her in any way, this will make the situation so much worse. She will only learn that you are dangerous and she will always be on the defense (equals aggressive). You have to be the leader/boss, meaning she has to earn everything from you...food, toys, attention. Spraying with the bottle is as bad as hitting btw.s

Sound of it your the sheep, collie instinct is to herd lower beings, you need to become the boss, ideas over time that can help...
-sniff the food bowl infront of pup before give (boss eats first)
-make them earn food/treats ie: sit/lay/paw ect
- do 10-20 mins every evening obedience training sit/lay/paw ect (stimulating brain)
-good 15/20 mins walk 2/3 times a day
-don't hit your dog, you want him to be obedient threw respect and love not fear
Good luck

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
