Correcting Aggression in Dogs
by: Adam G. Katz

Hi, Ashley:

What a cutie:

While your correction wasn't the most efficient way to do it... her submissive reaction indicates that you communicated your point, effectively.

If you learn how to give a leash correction (and make it motivational) you'll be that much more effective.

Don't take her to the dog park. Too many things can go wrong. But work in a controlled environment, and if your corrections have timing, consistency and motivation... this behavior will disappear after two or three corrections.
