I have an 8month old .. we were able to stop him from the biting.. but if I show affection or touch my hubs when he is sitting by him.. or visa versa.. he growls and snaps and barks.. but when its over he comes over and starts licking or being lovable again.. and its a constant .. if my hubs comes up in the kitchen to hand me something.. he does the same thing.. and tries to nip at him..also even if he sees a car drive down the street.. or people walk or ride a bike.. he starts barking and growling!!!

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

"You're going to want to give her a motivational correction-- but not one that's too motivational, otherwise there is a the possibility of her becoming defensive. I detail how to do this more explicitly in my "Secrets" book that you can download at"

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
