As a small puppy my Yorkie would mouth and bite, but I thought we had it under control. I am the primary care giver of her. She is a very loving dog and goes everywhere with us. You would think at only 5.5 lbs. that aggression would not be a problem, but it is. We have a car seat for her in the car. I will get in first and put her in the car seat (located on the console, between my husband and myself.) When my husband starts getting into the car, she starts growling and even though I hold her back, she bites at my husband. Sometimes drawing blood. Another example of her biting is we watch TV at night in bed for about an hour or so before bed and she lays with us. When it is time for bed she backs away and starts biting me or my husband, which ever one of us is putting her in her crate. Another example is if she picks up something that is not hers (something that has dropped on the floor) and we pick her up to take it away, it's a struggle and she will bite if she can get us. She has drawn blood on both of us. I have tried pushing her away and ignoring her, isolating her in her crate. I'm afraid to be too aggressive with an already aggressive dog. What should I do?
