Very hyper and aggressive 4 month old pitt/shepard mix

Terrible twos!

Terrible twos!

I rescued the pup when she was 6 weeks old, I do have 2 other, older dogs, so potty training was a breeze. However, after being outside for many, many hours she will come inside hyper as can be and still trying to play. She chews on socks, shoes, gloves and just about anything else. She has her own play toys and I've taken what she's not supposed to have and said no, while showing her, and given her her chew toys in return. How do i call her inside as well as stop her from chewing everything up? Shes ruined 2 pairs of brand new shoes of mine, my sons brand new school shoes, as well as several pairs of socks. I've blocked off entryways we do not want her in, I just can't get her happiness and chewing under control. She refuses to be leash trained as well.

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
