Two Male Shepherds Randomly Aggressive!

by Victoria

We have 3 shepherds. Two male and one female. Their ages are 8 months (Zedd), 3 years (Lobo), and 7 years (Misty) respectively. We've had them all since 8-10 weeks old, and raised them since. Zedd and Lobo got along fine at first, but now they will randomly attack each other, mostly in a playful way but sometimes in an extreme way. Zedd is not neutered yet and Lobo is and we thought that could have something to do with but we aren't sure! Lobo is a perfect dog and has been since the day we got him so it is very strange for him to be aggressive. We don't want to give Zedd back to our breeder but it is becoming tough. Any advice about males interacting or how to stop it would be fantastic. THANK YOU!!!!

Nothing In Life Is Free

Nothing In Life Is Free

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
