Staffy pup

Hi my 9 week old Staffy puppy is having what I can only describe as turning herself inside-out tantrums, growling and biting at my hands. She seems to mean business and I'm not convinced it's normal puppy behaviour. It occurs when she is restrained for any reason ( for example at puppy class I was asked to heal her on lead and she flipped out) . Or if I keep her away from a situation/ our older dog or if I am carrying her and she wants to get down. Today at the vets she through a paddy and bit the vet, the vet physically pinned her down and said we Are heading for a big problem ! It was all extremely stressful and I'd like to know how normal this is ? It is certainly not playing or mouthing. She seems very angry ? I'm increasingly worried about her growing into an aggressive dog...

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
