My aggressive dachsund

About a month ago, I rescued a 6-yr-old dachsund from Petco. Stephie loved me from the start and I her. Strangely, she will let my husband hold her but then she acts like she wants to eat him alive at different times. I thought that maybe she had a problem with men but not so as she did the same thing with my adult daughter and my neighbor. I don't know what to do! She was healing from a broken leg in the picture above but is fine now.

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
