Just rescued a 2 year old white deaf boxer having issues with h and my others playing

(Maryville tn)

My girl friend and I just rescued a 2 year old white deaf male boxer we have two other females Sasha 3 and Dixie 10 weeks Friday. I don't think he would intentionally hurt them but they are fearful when he begins to over power him and they attack out if fear yet he has not attacked back yet. My 10 week old runs from him and he goes after her like she's prey he pounces ontoo of her like she's a rabbit he weighs about 50 to 55lbs. The individual we got him from only had him like 2 weeks when she gave him to us. She claimed the previous owner before her also had a Doberman pincher and a Rottweiler that attacked him and you can see the scars new and old. He is really thin more than what normal boxers are typically and looks as if someone has kicked him in the last cause looks like he has an old break of one of his bones in his rib cage. He's the sweetest thing lovable no good aggression not out of control he's like a gentle giant just play time seems to start out like that and turns to hunting time. We don't want to have to get rid of him this baby needs a home who can love him and have patients and protect him yet at the same time we have to protect our other babies as well

Nothing In Life Is Free

Nothing In Life Is Free

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
