Agressive Pitbull Puppy

My pitbull puppy is 9 weeks old and has been having a trouble with biting and nipping, even though we are constantly disciplining her several different ways. Today she was playing pretty hard with her toy and I started talking to her and she turns and snaps at me and bites my hand so hard that I bleed. I'm worried because she is a pitbull bread and I hope I am doing everything right in raising her to be a good dog. I need advice.

I had a 6 week old pit bull pup started out loving and after he got use to us and are place .he would lanch at me for no reason he attacked me so bad my arms looked like a meat grinder till today it lanched at my arm it bite me and wouldnt let go my bf had to force his mouth open that scared me if he is like that at 6 weeks what will he do when older found out other people were saying they wernt happy with pups found out they were feeding pups raw meat called a dog trainer said that pup needs help bad it was looking for the weakness person to dominate and it choose me was told by trainer that if he doesnt get help by 4 mos he would end up really hurting me he bite my bf lip open and tried to bite his face.was so shocked this little guy could be this mean.

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.

Dog Aggression

Yes-- you can fix this. It's what we call "dog aggression" (in contrast to handler aggression).
You need to focus on two things:

1. Teach your dog to walk on a loose leash around all distractions. If she's on a loose leash, she cannot be paying attention to you and the other dog at the same time. It's either one or another, and if the leash is loose, then she has to watch you because she cannot FEEL from the tension in the leash, where you are.

2. You'll need to learn how to give a motivational correction, so that she clearly understands that this behavior is unacceptable. If she already knows that it's unacceptable, then the issue is that your correction is not firm enough, or you're not using the proper training collar (or it isn't fitted correctly!)
