aggressive pit/lab mix

My pit lab mix is approximately 4 years old and he is highly aggressive towards other dogs we cannot walk him he pulls so hard to get to them he's also gotten out of the yard and bit another dog you can bring a dog in my house but any dog outside the house he just wants to tear them to shreds please help I don't want to have to put him down

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
