Aggressive Newfoundland Puppy

I have a 10 week old Newfoundland puppy that wont stop biting. He also barks, growls and lunges towards our faces. He does this with all the family. He never seems to want any fuss just to bite and growl. It started with the cat and now with all of us. We have tried chews and toys, a stern no and also the grrrr sound nothing is working with him.

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
