Aggressive golden retreiver puppy
by: Anonymous

We are going through the same with our golden retriever puppy, when we tell her no, she jumps at us, bites our fingers and sometimes our stomach, Ive always wanted a golden retriever puppy and sometimes I think we just picked the bully of the litter, she doesn't listen at all, she completely ignores us when we have tried the OUCH theme or YELP theme, its like she really enjoys hurting us. Sometimes I wish we would have spent a little more time with the other puppies and chose the one that was more loving and sweet, But then I feel bad for thinking that way when shes really good and licks us and gives us kisses which is rare throughout the days.

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
