Aggressive Chocolate 6 Month Old Lab

by Mary
(Vienna, VA)

I have recently inherited a chocolate lab puppy from my Aunt. 95% of the time he is a friendly loving dog. It is that 5% which is scary.

He is very aggressive when trying to take something away to the point of Kujo like behavior. Things like pens and leashes in his mouth will start with a growl and grow into baring teeth and snarls. I want to keep him but am at a loss as to how to properly re-route this behavior.

How To Fix Your Aggressive Chocolate Lab
by: Adam G. Katz

You can definitely fix this behavior, yourself. I recommend that you download our "Secrets" book, because you'll at least have some context and a road map to success with your dog-- to understand what you'll need to do. If you read the book and still have questions, then I'll be in a better position to help you because you'll be able to understand how to use the techniques I'm recommending.

Adam G. Katz is the author of, "Secrets of a Professional Dog Trainer!" -- which you can find at DogProblems.com.
