Aggressive Chiweenie

My name is Nicole and recently my boyfriend and I bought a puppy. His name is Chewy and he is 5 months old. He was full of life and energy when we bought him and never showed any kind of aggression up until recently. Now he barks and growls at everyone an ha seen tried to nip at my 4 year old sister. It would Absolutly KILL me to have to bring him back because in such a short amount of time, I've gotten so attached to him. He isn't neutered yet but will be within the next month. Could that help with his aggression? Also do you suggest anything else I could do? Anything can help at this point :(

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
