Aggressive alaskan malamute puppy

Our puppy is 14 weeks old. She has been bad for biting and nipping since we brought her home, but we attributed it to normal puppy behavior. However, lately she has started becoming aggressive and biting when we tell her no, or correct her for being on the couch, or in the dishwasher. The more times I say no, the more snappy she gets. We have tried using the muzzle hold, and this just turns her into a "snapping turtle" when we let go. We have also tried putting her in a kennel time out, but as soon as we let her out, she goes back to doing what she was doing before the time out (ie, licking the dishwasher, or jumping at the couch). I don't know what else to try. The aggressive biting concerns me, since she is going to quickly become a very large dog. Please help!

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
