3 month old american eskimo

My puppy is very playful, but he acts overly aggressive toward other dogs. My sister has a Yorkie and poodle who he constantly chases and pounced on. They're afraid of him so we keep them apart; lately he started fighting us when being picked up or moved. He has actually clamped down and refused to let go of fingers or anything his little teeth can hold on to. Toys seem to distract him, but we don't want to keep trying to isolate him from other dogs and get his attention with other things. He is a really smart dog and knows basic commands, but he is super hyper around smaller or like-sized dogs. We arranged obedience classes, but could use a few tips for the time being.

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dogs start to view you as the "pack leader." If your dogs don't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
